Catherine "Penny" Small

Penny is married to Steve and helped found the firm in 2003. Penny (Pritchett) was born in Independence, Missouri, grew up in Waterville, and is a graduate of Anthony Wayne High School and Ohio University. After college, Penny worked in the human resources department of HCR (Health Care & Retirement Corporation, now Manor Care). After the birth of their first child, Penny stayed at home to raise the couple’s children. She joined the firm on a permanent basis in 2005 and serves as Client Services Manager.

In addition to keeping up with the kids’ activities, Penny has been very active in the Napoleon community. She has served as President of the Missions Council at Napoleon Church of the Nazarene, Secretary of the Napoleon Academic Boosters, Secretary of Napoleon Soccer Club, President of the Arts Council at St. Paul Lutheran School, member of the Athletic Boosters at St. Paul Lutheran School and a neighborhood canvasser for United Way. Penny was also instrumental in bringing First Book to Henry County. This program became an integral part of United Way of Henry County's Early Childhood Development Program.

Penny and her husband, Steve, and dogs, Sam and Tobin, live in Napoleon. Their son, Connor, lives and works in Napoleon and Hailey, their daughter, lives in Dublin and works in Worthington. The family loves to spend time together at their place in Glen Arbor, Michigan on the Leelanau Peninsula. They are members of Redemption Church in Monclova Township.
